Joshua is a Detroit area educator who first saw a Box Camera used by Rodrigo Abd in a TIME Magazine article. His wife later bought him the Afghan Box Camera book and he was inspired to build his own camera. Since 2016, he has shot private gatherings, street markets and festivals, and demonstrated how the camera works at community non-profit events. Recently he modified his lens mount so that he can use lenses mounted on a Speed Graphic lens board. This allows him to use lenses on both his Box Camera and 4×5 Speed Graphic camera.”
