Valentine built her Afghan Box Camera in 2014 and has since been working on the island of Ibiza in her dedicated Box Camera studio. “My learning curve was slow but steady.” Her intimate portraits and scenes encompass Ibiza’s spirit to its core. She made a fun addition to the eyehole on the top of the camera, using swimming goggles with a red filter.
