Santiago Fernández is a photojournalist based in Quito, Ecuador. He built his Box Camera in 2016 as he received 32 boxes of 9×13 Negtor Photo-paper (a Spanish brand expired in the 80s). The paper was too small to make prints, and the expired Fibre Based paper won’t have a constant result. So he decided to use the as negative. He got a Russian Industar 210mm lens and started to work with the Box Camera. Currently he is experimenting with salt prints.
