Nicola Mauro Salza was born in Italy near Rome. He has been practising black and white analogue photography for over 45 years. Nicola is an expert in Ancient Printing Techniques such as Gomma Bicromatata, Carbone, Collodio, Cyanotype, Kallitipia and others…
He takes his black & white photography to schools to us it as a communication tool.
He discovered Minutera Photography in 2019 and fell in love with its extraordinary possibilities.
What he likes most is meeting people and exchanging knowledge and Minutera Photography is fantastic for doing this. He has built five cameras so far. The first for 15x22cm format, the second 13x13cm, the third for 10×15, the fourth uses a pinhole and has no lens and the last for 13x18cm paper. This last camera allows you to see what is being done inside thanks to a window that opens and is shielded with red plexiglass.
