Leicester Lo-Fi is a collective including Daryl Tebbutt, Stephen Lynch, Dan Hessing and David Wilson-Clarke. Daryl discovered the Afghan Box Camera website in 2012 and set about building a prototype. “The plan was to refine the camera and build a proper one using some nice wood and brass fittings, but we have never gotten around to it.” The prototype has worked perfectly. They have used the Box Camera in the streets of Leicester, Derby, Manchester and London. They run workshops in its design and also offer it as a service for cool, quirky wedding shoots.
