“Many years ago, during our annual festivals in my hometown of Cordoba, I remembered an old man with a large moustache and black hat setting up his Box Camera and taking photos of the locals. As a child, I was in awe of how photos would emerge from that wooden box as I watched him peer into a small opening on top and put his hand in for a few moments to produce the black and white image.”Conrado built his own Minutero Camera in 2012 with the help of his friend Angel Howsky. Since then, he has participated in Minutero Festivals and has presented Box Camera Photography in schools and even on the radio. He also built his own enlarger out of recycled materials.
