Clément built his Afghan Box Camera around two years ago. His interest in alternative processes such as calotype, rayogram and collodion sparked his curiosity to build his own box. He doesn’t take a second exposure of the negative; he creates a contact print to create his positive image. He is planning to construct a much larger box to take 18x24cm large images. He will call it Atlas and travel around the globe with it.
