Lionel Boscher has been a pinhole photography since 1995. He discovered Sébastien Bergeron’s Afghan Box Camera during the Gacilly Photo Festival in 2019. He purchased one of his modules. “This camera allows me to obtain images instantly and to get 10×15 pinhole negatives. I get the positives by creating a contact print with an LED lamp.” His favourite My favourite places are the Islands off Brittany, deserted and remote places which are conducive to meetings with strangers. “At a time when digital technology is de-materializing images, my interest is more and more in saving the ruins of this photographic substance to which we attribute.”
