Barbara is originally from Italy but has lived and worked in Barcelona for the last 16 years. She discovered “fotografos minuteros” during a festival in 2015. “From the very first moment I was fascinated by the people carrying those curious boxes that are cameras and darkrooms at the same time and that, through a magical ritual, bring out a curious image of you.” She contacted Jose Luis Navarro, an old-time “minutero” from Alicante, and bought a camera of him. Since then, she has joined the old profession of itinerant photography.
