Sono and Mitsu built their cameras with the help of the ABCP manual in 2016. While Mitsu followed the Afghan model, Sono made the right side fully openable so people can see how the camera works. They set up workshops and photograph at events too. Together they also set up an exhibition at which they photographed the visitors and added to the images to the growing exhibition. Mitsu has also collaborated with Malaysian Box Camera Photographer Jeffrey Lim.
